Do you have a reason to succeed? ^Featured

Last night at our Powerful You! Women's Network meeting, one of our topics revolved around self-discipline and what motivates us to get things done and ultimately, succeed! We all shared great experiences, ideas, tips and our own personal successes. Giving it further thought, I was reminded about the one thing that I didn't mention and its value, it's all about the "WHY?"

I've always coached my clients into success when we step back and look at WHY they desire this particular success and what would their life look like and feel like if they succeeded at this particular desire...

Here are some of the questions for you to ponder when you ask yourself WHY?

Do you have a reason to succeed? Have you defined the reasons "WHY" you want to succeed? Do you live those reasons with every breath you take? Are you living a purposeful life? Do you take action daily based on your intent to achieve your dreams? Is life controlling you, or have you taken control of your life?

These questions can clearly identify for you if you are living your life with purpose and truly believe in your reasons "WHY" you want to succeed. Living with intent to succeed is a life that is driven, motivated, inspired and focused with every thought, action and behavior!

When you surround yourself with the reasons and you live with that intent daily, every day has meaning, purpose, and joy! When you keep the thoughts of those reasons foremost in your mind, you will naturally make choices that are aligned with your vision, your values, and your intent to succeed. When you are faced with obstacles and challenges, you can hold onto your "reasons to succeed" to pull you through and help you to strengthen your passion and vision for what you want to accomplish!

The only impediment to success is the lack of a reason for that success. Know your "WHY", connect with the reasons, keep that connection strong, and you will find your way to success regardless of the obstacles, insecurities, fear, and challenges you encounter.

When you have a reason; you own your life, you own your purpose and you have a stake in the outcome. When you have a reason, and live your life driven by your "WHY"; discipline, commitment, persistence, and creativity become the natural tools you use to accomplish your dreams.

The best motivation for success is to consistently keep yourself connected to the reasons "WHY" you want to succeed!!
